C.I. aka Cochlear Implant Erasmus Hospital Rotterdam Journey

Source:

Hi guys. (I'm doing this blogpost in English, because I have some English friends whom might have interest in what I'm going through, that's why. Though, in Dutch I can maybe explain it better.)

This blogpost is very different from what you guys always read from me. But I felt like making a blogpost about it instead of suppressing this journey.

Most people don't know I don't have hearing impairments, or they forget it over and over again. I'm not completely deaf, because I still can hear & speak. I only can't hear high tones like, hearing birds whistling, hearing a door bell ringing, hearing the fire alarm going off, beeps, high tones of a music instrument, hearing the beep of a microwave and sooo much more! It's really too much to tell.

I'm writing this blogpost because tomorrow, I'm going to travel to Rotterdam, to the Erasmus Hospital to have my first tests so they can check of I'm a good candidate for having a C.I. I gotta get up at 5 am in the morning, needing to take the first train which goes straight to Rotterdam. The train ride will last 1:45 hours before we will be on Rotterdam Central. Then I have to do 3 tests, which will last like almost a hour.

If you don't know what a C.I. (Cochlear Implant) is, please read it at Wikipedia below here.

English:

Dutch:

You'll understand better what this do include.

I'm really nervous for tomorrow, because I don't know of I will gonna be accepted for it, I will hear that about a week. Maybe, this is gonna change my whole life, or not.

Maybe I'll try more to accept and try more to life with my restriction, but I really hope, people will understand me also more and try to help me instead of not giving a fuck and doing whatever they want.

I had and still have a lot of difficult times with my hearing impairments, this restriction is not something I can suppress, it's something I go through every day, doesn't matter where I go. It's making it hard to have contact with other people and either it's making it hard to follow movies/programs without subtitle, doesn't matter English or Dutch. But, I don't wanna write too much about how bad I'm having it now, I atleast can still hear and I'm glad I'm still being able to hear music, although I might not hear the high tones in it.

Tomorrow is gonna be a long day. I hope you all will understand me now better and I hope you guys will support me.

There's nothing more I wanna say, I guess. I gotta go sleep now, or else I'll be go as a zombie to the Erasmus Hospital of Rotterdam!

I don't know of another post will follow about how the day went, it might be hard for me to tell, so I'm not sure of I wanna write the experience down on here.

Well,

Good night lovelies! <3

I love you all ;)

Hi peepz! Long time no blog xD. Sorry for letting you wait for so long.

After we put our stuff in the hotelroom, we went traveling with the bus, metro & tram to the location of We Love Japan!

I had fun, being with my friends, but that's all xD. It was small, busy and just, busy haha. So I'm glad I saw my best friend and cosplay friend, Melissa again. I can talk with her about anything lol ^=^.

I was as Itachi Uchiha ;=; My wig looked horrible because I fixed it in less than 10 mins. I had no time left anymore lol :c.

I love you Mel! ^=^
