C.I. (Cochlear Implant) Journey Erasmus Hospital Rotterdam.

Hi guys!

I've been very busy with much medical examinations lately and it really gave me much stress and much depressed feelings. All those tests exhausted me a lot and also frustrated me much because I always was like .... Do we have to go again? And if I'm feeling frustrated, angry or anything like that, I always abreact it on the ones I love.

If you don't know what a C.I. is, please read this blogpost of me: http://yuuxsan.blogspot.nl/2014/03/ci-aka-cochlear-implant-erasmus.html , or google: Cochlear Implant.

A few days ago, we finally had the final conversation about this journey with the question of I'm a good candidate for it, yes or no.

They told me, I'm a very good candidate for it, so it means I'm being put on the waiting list of a year and maybe in late 2015 or early 2016, I'll get the C.I. I was happy when I heard this but also had mixed feelings, I didn't know exactly what to think about it. It felt like, I was getting the operation that tomorrow already and it made me kind of scared. It was just coming very close.

Also, they want to save my low tones of myself because I hear enough with it and only want to place a C.I. which saves the low tones while the high tones, which I don't hear anymore, will be operated. So that means, I'll still hear the low tones of myself, through myself and not through the C.I. because normally, people with C.I. are completely deaf on that side, but in my case, I'll only be completely on high tones because my low tones are just still good enough.

Anyway, the operation will find place about a year, not now, luckily. I now can prepare myself on this all and I already made future plans. After I recovered from the operation, I'll go back to school, starting the training Fashion School, sewing clothes & all.

Also, my mum and I are busy searching more information about taking a Signal Dog, this dog helps deaf people with obstacles we are having every day. We're not sure of we need to take this dog before or after the operation.

I'm just very excited about this Signal Dog, and if he/she can help me with my hearing problems every day, that would be great. When I'll start the training, I also planned to move from Vlissingen to Tilburg because here in this province, you don't have a training like that.

My mind is just being full of stress and full of future plans. I hope you liked reading this blogpost of me,

I might have forgotten some details or something, but as I earlier said, my mind is very full at the moment so I easily forget about things.

Pfffffffff......... I first delayed writing this, planning to write it the day after the conversation, but I didn't feel like writing back then.

Hope my friends will read this, and my family,

I hope you'll all understand how heavy this task weighs on me because some people, really talk about it so easily, like it's nothing. It is heavy and putting a lot of weight on me, hope you'll understand that.

I now will stop writing because arrgh, headache is taking over.

Thanks for reading & have a nice sunny (but very warm) day.

Big kissesss & hugs for all of you guys :)

Animecon 14-06-2014

Hii everybody!

This is a superrrrrr late blog about the convention I went to for the first time, Animecon!

I'll hold it short for this time ^^, since I have more blogs to write actually xD.

Scroll down for my story ^^

I was very surprised about these cards and didn't know how to wear them xD. On the other conventions, you'll just get a wristband and I think I prefer this more. But it was cool to see my cosplayname on the card yaaayyy! (^∇^)

The day before Animecon I stayed over at my cosplay bff's place, Lumimi Chan <3. She also has her own blog, go check it out! (It's in Dutch) http://chocolatarose.blogspot.nl/

And also the day after Animecon I stayed over at her place. I want to thank her so much for allowing me to stay over at her place so I didn't need to travel more than 50 km with the train & over more than 2 hours. Thanks so much Lumimi, love ya!

These photo's were being made in the train on our way to Animecon! (*^▽^)

We first had to stand suuuuuch a long time in the row for the suitcases T___T Even Abunaicon wasn't that slow but pfew, after the long wait, we went to walk a little bit and take a look everywhere. I could feel the pressure on this convention of everyone wanting to look professional, I didn't like the atmosphere (゚ペ).

But I didn't worried about that much and went to have fun! Me and Lumimi went to the AMV Competitions and we were judges!!!\(^∀^)メ(^∀^)ノ

I felt sooooooo much power in my hands when we had the chance to be judges and we took the chance! I felt so honored and proud hahah! We had to give numbers from I guess.... 22 until 99 ? If I'm right o__O .........  & watching all the beautiful AMV's, made me wanting to watch Anime again ^=^. So muuuuuch feeeeels! (*゜Д゜*) At the end, there were like 4 AMV's who really touched me, and of course I gave high points for these but I also looked at the edits they made, not only the feels xD.

Next, we went to Venus her lecture ''How To Become A Web Celebrity''.

I was very excited to see her and also was very curious of she her voice was still the same in real life as in her videos. And yes I was right. For me, she spoke very clear so that was very nice for me, but sometimes some words I didn't understand what she said.

She just .... Looked like a normal person in real life, a person, just like us! (^▽^) It was very nice seeing her in real. When you see her videos you're like omg she's a celebrity and blablabla, but in this lecture, she just seemed like a normal person, someone who wants to be treated kind ^=^

Really loveee her pink laptop!

A friend of Lumimi went with us to the lecture and after it was done, he went to ask some questions. I quickly took a picture ^___^.

After the lecture we finally went to the dealer room, it was like heaven!! (≧▽≦) <3

I saw all kinds of cute stuff & so much more! Next time I go to a con, I'll buy an alpaca!

Lumimi and her friend :3.

Alpacaaaa's ;______; Unhappily, I was already too late and it closed. Oh well, next time better D:

But of course I couldn't leave with empty hands! When Lumimi and her friend went to get the suitcases, I went to buy some things! I'm always a person from, first looking around and then buying :3.

This is the stuff I bought, only much foood xD. I did it, to also let my mum and brother taste these Japanese candy and drinks, wanting to know what I love about it so much!

Poooooocky!!!! I bought the panda pocky. Strawberry snoopy pocky and Panda cookies and cream strawberry flavor! I enjoyed eating them sooo much wowwwww ヽ(o`皿′o)ノ

Strawberry Ramune drinks! I got one for free from Lumimi's friend, wanna thank him for that! I bought 2 another, also for my brother and mother to let them taste ^=^. Ramune is one of my favorite Japanese drinks :D.

I reallllllly enjoyed eating these! They really have a delicious strawberry cream flavor and I never tasted them before! Definitely now one of my favorite Japanese candy snacks now!

While being in the dealer room, a photographer I met at Tsunacon and a friend of Lumimi, wanted to photograph us. I felt honored but a little uncomfortable being photographed (>o<).

I'm happy the pictures he took of me turned out so good ^=^ So thanks Giovanni, for the nice pictures! Check out his group on FB where he put all his pictures :3. https://www.facebook.com/groups/CosplayinJapanandParis/?fref=ts

(。_゜)

(((*。_。)

After the dealerroom, Lumimi had a photoshoot and I'm very happy I could be a guest of it. I had my role also, I had to make Lumimi smile and take care of the details. Thanks Jim De Groot for letting me be a guest of the photoshoot n____n.
Check out his Flickr here! https://www.flickr.com/photos/jimdegroot

After the photoshoot, me and Lumimi decided to go eat somewhere but we were waiting on a friend of her, so meanwhile we took pictures together!

I really love the color of this wig <3. I coul have styled it better but I was already in a rush in the morning xD.

I smile so epic .... Like I'm going to plan something evil (゚Д゚)

Selfies together.

Derp selfie.

Theeeen, we suddenly saw our best friend, Dave! And of course we quickly stole him to ourself for some pictures and talk!

Two of my best friends posing together <3. Love you guys!

Groupshot!

And now a lot derp pictures of me and Dave together <3. He's so tall hahah x3.

''Lumimi, don't take such a close-up!!!'' I yelled at that moment..... Errrh... Well... Thanks for the derp pic, Lumimi (・_・ ) ( ・_・)

Me and Lumimi finally went to eat and after we finished dinner, we wandered a bit around. Then we found one of those photocorners where you could take a picture of yourself ^____^. Of course I wanted to take pictures there! :D.

This photobooth really made you feel like you're in Japan, konnichiwa! (>ω<*)

I loooook so amused huhhhhhhh.....  ( ̄  ̄'')

After this little photoshoot, me and Lumimi went to Deshima Sounds but ughhh, the rules there are so strict, I wasn't allowed to go inside with my handbag, so we couldn't go T____T. So, we just decided to leave already, because we had to catch the train & all.

It was a fun convention, but unfortunately I didn't saw my other friends and I actually go to the conventions also for meeting my cosplay friends again. That's what I decide not to go to any Animecon convention anymore, also to save money ^_____^''

But as I look back upon it, it was a very nice day and I had so much fun.

Thanks for reading my blog lovelies, stay beautiful! ( ̄▽ ̄)

A loooot of kisses & hugs and a very good night,

Yuu San ;).
