I'm gonna write about my C.I. Journey again since I got a little bit more information.
A few days ago, the hospital called me that I could have an operation earlier, on 17th of February. Me and my mom both were so shocked because I got on the waiting list August last year and it's now January and they told us there's a waiting list of a year.
I got a little heart attack of it because we weren't prepared to get the operation already so fast. Me and my mom declined the offer and told them we want the operation to be a little later.
And then came the question of we already had chosen a processor ..... Ehh, wait, what? We thought they would do that and that we didn't had to choose for one by ourselves.
So ok....
I came out on:
Cochlear Nucleus 6 (Hybrid??)
I still have questions around it because I really love music and have many questions because of that.
So yea, guys,
I'll probably get the C.I. operation in March/June or Juli.
Because it will be earlier than August, I'll be able to attend Abunaicon :).
Also, the project around the Signal/Hearing dog is officially closed. I'm sure I won't qualify for a Signal dog because they think I won't need the dog because I'll get my C.I. and then the dog will have too less work to do for me.
Still ain't gonna give up on the idea, I'll get my doggy, doesn't matter when, but I'll get one! ^-^.

I'm excited for the C.I. but not for the operations, I already shiver when I see someone being operated in the hospital room & blood & needles ewwww Dx.
I'll take calming medicines for sure lol.
